Hey ya'll. I hate that I've sucked at blogging lately. But I'll try to do better.
College is still pretty good. I've had a few stress-freak-out moments but it's still grand! Mostly I just miss my friends! Here I'm meeting tons of new people and I have all my freaking amazing roomies, but I miss my other friends! I wish somehow I could stay at BYU-I, but have my friends here with me, and maybe see my family once a week. It sucks because I can't come home UNTIL THANKSGIVING. What the freak. Yeah. Thanksgiving. The parentals are too paranoid. But I'm 18....so maybe I'll just hop on home sometime anyway, we'll see. So the social life is great (a little too great for Tori and Erin...hahahahahaha) and this school is amazing. But I feel like I missing something still. I just don't know what. Maybe it's money....I NEED A JOB. Oh well. Whatever. I'll just eat worms for every meal. And the job I was supposed to maybe get...CAN SUCK IT. Anyway, life is good. I love it here. I miss you all.
P.S. After having to take care of myself, I finally understand how annoying
it is to clean up after people. This results in a post it note in the kitchen saying
"Yeah, our mom's aren't here to clean up after us." Aka: Cleanliness is next to
Godliness. OK BYE.

College Life
Most of you have already talked about your college experience so far and all that jazz but since I just arrived here in Idaho almost a week ago, here is my posty post.
College is...one big party. This past week has been a blast. Minus the dumb freshman orientation stuff... Now that school has actually started, it's kinda stressful and it's weird to have to balance stuff out so much. But it's good! I'm lovin' it. Here are some highlights:
It took awhile for all 6 of us roommates to be able to talk to each other. We had all been so busy moving in all day. Well Thursday night we literally were together for 5 minutes when of course...we thought of this crazy, spontaneous, immature, insane plan (like always) and we acted on that plan. PRFL!!!!!!!!! Then we've had various adventures such as: Dance parties, Kiwi Loco, Doorbell ditching, Dr. Pepper Brownies, more party rockin', tool invasion or immature freshman boys, dressing up, music videos, and so many random things.
About school: My math teacher is EXACTLY like a math teacher from a movie. He's a nice man but...he has a comb over...glasses...and a speech impediment.
And in choir...we're singing Battle of Jericho.
And in Book of Mormon I learned...something about Tori and The Brave Little Toaster. :)

I hope to learn...
Some things in college.
For example:
How to cook
How to iron a shirt
How to use a crockpot
How to do my laundry
How to speak German
How to be sincere
How to save my money
How to not procrastinate
How to be more friendly
How to breakdance :)
How to get married (totally kidding)
How to eat healthy (seriously)
How to enjoy learning
How to play the guitar
And many other things.
But I need to start sometime. So why not now?
Or, well... in 3 days.

The Quest for the Best Navajo Taco: Complete.
Navajo Hogan.
Pretty sure that's the winner.
Since there really aren't any other navajo taco restaurants...
Tori was like family here because she used to go every week.
Too bad we didn't get one "on the house".
I've always wanted to get something on the house...
Don't judge the plate. Judge the taco.
And the taco was good.

So Long Deseret Book
Saturday was my last day at the beloved Deseret Book. And it was pretty bittersweet. I am so excited and relieved to be done with those 6 hour shifts (and me feet are pretty relieved too). I am so happy I don't have to wear collared shirts anymore. And I'm so happy to be done with retail (for the time being). But there are some things I actually am really going to miss. Like the atmosphere. Deseret Book is a super unique place to work at. Who knew you could feel the spirit while you worked? It's a wonderful environment (even though some people like to freak out just because we're all out of beehive cake stands). Then there's the Lion House brownies and muffins. Yummm. And most of all I will miss the employees. I love them all (most of the time :D). I really am going to miss them so much. So thank you Deseret Book for a great time. It's been real. Maybe I'll see you again soon?
